eatingforever: Wu Fung Dessert (Aberdeen Food Court)

Snack Time! Walking around Aberdeen with my mom this afternoon, we couldn't resist eating some snacks from the food court. Tempted by all the different stands, we finally settled in on Wu Fung Dessert, but no desserts this afternoon.

I have a cousin who absolutely loves the Deep Fried Chicken Wings ????, so we ordered some to try (3 for $4.35). I thought they were pretty delicious, and I really liked how they marinated it in ginger, which gave the chicken wings a little punch. They came steaming hot, and while we were eating it, it was still letting off some steam. The meat is really tender, fatty and juicy. Only bad thing I can say is that there was a lot of oil. It may have been a little better if the soaked the wings in paper towels first.

I personally really love curry fish balls, so we ordered a Small (12 fishballs, $3.75). I found these ones pretty good, but not awesome. The fishballs were nice and bouncy, but the curry sauce was rich, but I just didn't like how it wasn't very spicy. And though I found the fish balls tasty, they were missing the wow factor, or the punch of spicy curry.
And finally, a Cold Lemon Tea ($2.00) to cool down on a hot summer day. For two dollars, the drink came in a huge tall cup. The drink was really refreshing, with the perfect combination of sweetener and lemon slices!

In the end...
Food : 3.5 / 5
Setting : Food court, not much to say
Price : Pretty cheap! especially their drinks :)

Overall : 3.5 / 5 (but, considering it's food court food, it could be scaled to 4/5 on the food court ratings )
